What is a shipment tracking system?

For customers who have a lot of shipments they receive directly a weekly follow up report with overview of all shipping steps and the current shipment status. Depending on the processing progress of the booking, the shipment status is displayed as follows:

  • BOOKING ORDERED / SHIPMENT IN PROCESS
  • BOOKING CONFIRMED
  • PICKUP DONE
  • SHIPMENT DEPARTED
  • SHIPMENT ARRIVED / SHIPMENT STORED

Our system uses databases to obtain up-to-date information for delays and cancellations as well as direct feedback from all those involved along the shipping process. Any disruptions that may occur are identified at an early stage.
